Warehouse Support Person/Parts Delivery Driver - Mississauga, ON


GoRight has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Support Person/Parts Delivery Driver for the Mississauga location.

The individual in this role will primarily be responsible for providing support in the warehouse including but not limited to; assisting customers, performing cycle counts, checking in stock orders and stocking shelves, and pulling orders. General housekeeping of the parts areas is also a requirement to ensure work areas are free from hazards preventing health and safety issues as well as supporting LEAN and quality process improvement initiatives. From time to time, this role will be required to provide pickup and delivery of parts for both customers and the shop on a timely basis and to assist with maintaining shop parts and inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREA:

  • Warehouse support duties as assigned
  • Assist with walk in and phone in over the counter sales – ensure the customer is attended to politely and in a timely manner and phones are answered promptly and in a professional manner
  • Pull and stage parts for shop jobs before coming into the shop
  • Identify and communicate any work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor
  • Communicate any inventory concerns or discrepancies with Parts Manager
  • Ensure all parts are billed to work orders in real time to relieve from inventory
  • Ensure any un-used parts are returned to inventory and removed from work orders if necessary
  • Deliver parts to customer locations in a timely and safe manner
  • Pick up parts at supplier locations
  • Maintain parts delivery truck to company standards with regular cleanings
  • Attend meetings and training after hours if required
  • Working shift work, including weekends, when required
  • Other work as may be defined
  • Deliver parts and pick up at service locations
  • Complete Daily Reports
  • Operate company vehicle in a safe undistracted manner
  • Other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum Grade 12 education, or combination of education and experience accepted
  • Minimum one (1) year previous experience working with parts delivery, & inventory support
  • Valid Class G license, with a clean driving record, must be willing to provide drivers’ abstract upon hire
  • Strong customer service skills, always maintaining professionalism
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy
  • Safe operation of a Fork Lift
  • Commitment to health & safety of self and team members
  • Good organizational skills to maintain inventory
  • Able to communicate clearly and receive and understand directions
  • Be willing and able to work in a loud environment
  • Be willing and able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather extremes
  • Be willing and able to work occasional weekends or shift work, as required

Parts Person - Mississauga, ON


GoRight has an immediate opening for a Parts Person to assist with shop parts, inventory and parts sales at the Mississauga location.

The individual in this role will primarily be responsible to supply parts to internal and external customers over the front counter, service counter, receiving order requests via telephone maintaining professionalism at all times. The role requires accurate record keeping of inventory, identifying parts required for upcoming jobs in the shop and ensuring the communication of lead times of on parts arrival from suppliers. The individual will also provide support in the general housekeeping of the parts areas to ensure work areas are free from hazards preventing health and safety issues as well as support LEAN and quality process improvement initiatives. The individual may be required to work shift work or hours on the occasional weekend as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREA:

  • Supply parts to customers from inventory
  • Add parts to open Shop and Mobile work orders and assign to proper tasks as required
  • Assist with updating repair quotes with part information and pricing
  • Assist with pulling and staging parts for shop jobs before coming into the shop
  • Return unused or extra parts to correct inventory location
  • Pick parts orders for shipping to customers, stock orders for off-site branches, parts transfers
  • Perform cycle counts
  • Ensure all jobs in the shop are provided with the parts and supplies required immediately when requested
  • Identify and communicate any work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor
  • Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies
  • Processing of purchase orders and invoices
  • Accurate reporting on work orders related to parts

Tire Technician - Mississauga, ON


GoRight has an immediate opening for a Tire Technician working out of our Mississauga branch. In this role you will be responsible for the implementation of all aspects of the established tire programs for our internal fleet and our external customers’ fleet. Duties may be performed in the shop, at a customer location or at times, at the roadside. This position is primarily Monday to Friday daytime hours with flexibility required to work overtime or weekends when necessary.

The successful candidate will maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, continuously demonstrate a professional image, ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service while establishing good employee and community relations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREA:

  • Adhering strictly to company standards and procedures for wheel removal and installation
  • Determine tire conditions and take appropriate action
  • Prepare tires for retreading
  • Dismounting / mounting of commercial truck tires, tire rotations, maintain recommended PSI of truck tires and repairs
  • Ensuring torque and torque checks are completed in a timely manner and documented, maintaining accurate records
  • Prepare tires for retreading which includes preparing proper documentation and maintain casing and retreading results
  • Provide accurate work order information for invoicing of customers
  • Maintain tire service vehicle; ensure all required equipment are operational, both on the service vehicle and in the shop
  • Ability to drive service vehicle to customer location(s), when required, to perform appropriate tire repair or replacements
  • Promote a safe work environment, always following safety standards, and ensuring timely reporting of health & safety issues or concerns

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 or combination of education and relative work experience
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience in the commercial tire industry with recognized certification
  • Valid Ontario ‘G’ class driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract
  • Strong customer service skills, always maintaining professionalism

Licensed 310T Truck & Coach Technician - Mississauga, ON


GoRight has immediate openings for licensed a Truck & Coach Technician for our Mississauga facility.

Reporting to the Service Manager, you are an integral member of GoRight’s Service team. As part of your duties, you will perform maintenance and repairs on trucks, trailers and tankers, diagnose and troubleshoot defects and perform top quality work in a safe manner.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Following GoRight’s standard work order process and procedures ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records
  • Repair and maintain customer equipment
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions of equipment
  • Complete timely and quality repairs resulting in customer satisfaction
  • Perform work with safety as a priority and adhering to all safety policies and standards
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe facility
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 310T License or 3rd/4th year apprentice considered
  • Minimum two year’s experience with welding
  • Experience with tank trailers would be an asset
  • Commitment to personal safety and safety of coworkers
  • Good written and oral communication
  • Valid provincial driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • A cooperative team player attitude with a positive work ethic

The ideal technician will be able to conduct safety inspections, diagnose and repair electrical systems, landing gear assemblies and trailer frames, truck bodies, suspension systems, tires, wheels, hubs and axles, air and auxiliary systems, brake and life gate systems.

YOU WILL REQUIRE:

  • Licensed 310J Technician
  • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience (Trailer, Truck & Coach, Welding Fabricating, Electrical, Mechanical) OR completion of a related college program
  • Experience operating hand and air tools
  • Ability to lift heavy parts

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Mobile Service Technician is an integral member of our Fleet Service team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will perform all aspects of trailer equipment repair and maintenance in a high quality and safe manner. You will maintain your mobile unit, equipment, inventory and tools assigned, while conveying the professional image of GoRight and a high level of customer service at all times; whether it be providing emergency roadside assistance, providing scheduled servicing at the customer’s location, or working with members of GoRight team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Repair and maintain customer equipment
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions of equipment
  • Follow GoRight’s standard work order process and procedures ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records
  • Complete timely and quality repairs resulting in customer satisfaction
