Senior Financial Analyst - Kitchener, ON


GoRight Fleet Solutions Inc. has developed a leadership opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Kitchener, Ontario.

Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for preparing and consolidating financial statements, establishing and maintaining internal controls, providing monthly, quarterly and year-end analyses and serving as a liaison to external auditors. The Senior Financial Analyst will also be responsible for general accounting, reconciliation of intercompany transactions. This leadership position will actively be involved in the development of budgets and forecasts and will play an essential role in reporting and controlling internal cost control projects.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Financial Management

  • Assist with directing and managing accounting functions and internal controls, including establishing and maintaining accounting principles, practices, and procedures
  • Timely and accurate processing of all key financial transactions
  • Preparation and/or review of journal entries and bank reporting required for lending agreements
  • Participate in all 3rd party audit preparation and execution
  • Assist in inventory counts
  • Lead cost accounting activities
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements and the Year End Financial Statement notes as assigned
  • Act as a key resource to the sales and operations departments in the preparations of annual budgeting, forecasting and actuals
  • Maintain fixed asset register and fixed asset accounting to the area and department level
  • Back up to Finance Management Team as necessary
  • Other work as may be defined

Leadership

  • Assist Finance Management Team with the recruiting and onboarding of new team members
  • Coach and mentor team members, including review and approval of work assignments and training requirements of the team including completion of regular performance review
  • Management and prioritization of workloads

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Undergraduate degree (Business, Economics or Finance preferred)
  • 5 years or more experience (Public Accounting experience highly valued)
  • 2 to 3 years post CPA certification
  • Ability to hand multiple, complex tasks concurrently
  • Strong attention to detail with high accuracy
  • Solid teamwork and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships with peers
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Navision Account system an asset
  • Proficiency level knowledge with MS Office suite

Shunt Driver (Day Shift) - Kitchener, ON


GoRight Fleet Solutions Inc. (GoRight) has an immediate opening for a Shunt Driver to work out of our facility located in Kitchener, ON. If you are looking to contribute to the success of a great team, in a day shift position, we are looking for you.

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Service Manager, our Shunt Drivers are integral members of GoRight’s Kitchener Service team. The primary responsibility of this position is to shunt trailers in and out of the shop, keep the shop yards organized, check trailers in and out, and communicate with the service and sales team to ensure that equipment is staged and available when required to maintain a continuous flow of work.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Include but are not limited to:

  • Shunting trailers in/out of shop bays as directed by Foreman, Maintenance Planner or Service Manager
  • Organize staged trailers coming in to shop
  • Assist Maintenance Parts Planner with loading and unloading parts
  • Complete full yard checks to ensure accuracy of trailer inventory
  • Maintaining yard arrangement and cleanliness
  • Complete paperwork to ensure trailer locations are up to date and accurate
  • Meet with service team to maintain communication
  • Participate in problem solving initiatives – A3, Kaizen, QK etc.
  • Follow all health and safety policies and procedures as set out in the Health and Safety Manual

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid class AZ license with minimum 3 years’ experience and clean driver’s abstract
  • Forklift experience
  • Safe driving skills and ability to operate tractor-trailer units in tight spaces safely and without damaging the unit
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of city roads
  • Basic mechanical skills to maintain equipment assigned and inspect inbound/outbound equipment

Maintenance Parts Planner (Afternoon Shift) - Kitchener, ON


GoRight is growing again and looking for a Maintenance Parts Planner – Afternoon Shift, to work out of our facility located in Kitchener, ON.

Position Summary:

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the shop by planning and providing parts, supplies and assisting with all other avoidable barriers that stand in the way of effective and efficient repairs and maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Identify and ensure availability of all parts and supplies for all jobs in the shop and provide updates on parts that need to be sourced
  • Inspection of trailers before they come in to the shop to identify requirements
  • Update repair quotes with part information and pricing
  • Identify and communicate work order warranty requirements to technicians and shop supervisor
  • Maintain relationship with parts supplier to assist in timely delivery, billing and support
  • Maintaining communication with Parts Manager for rush orders, inventory concerns etc.
  • Order and maintain inventory
  • Ensure paperwork is detailed, accurate and timely
  • Assist in shop organization and facility maintenance when required
  • Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to self, co-workers and customers

Qualifications

The successful candidates will require:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent with trade training
  • Industry related experience is an asset
  • Trailer maintenance knowledge and experience
  • Comfortable working in a high paced environment
  • Ability to use hand tools
  • Strong data entry and computer skills (MS Office, Cetaris etc.)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Licensed Mobile Service Technician (310J or 310T) - London, ON

Position Summary:

Reporting to the Contract Manager, the Mobile Service Technician is an integral member of our Fleet Service team. As a Mobile Service Technician, you will perform all aspects of trailer equipment repair and maintenance in a high quality and safe manner. You will maintain your mobile unit, equipment, inventory and tools assigned, while conveying the professional image of GoRight and a high level of customer service at all times; whether it be providing emergency roadside assistance, providing scheduled servicing at the customer’s location, or working with members of GoRight team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain customer equipment
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions of equipment
  • Follow GoRight’s standard work order process and procedures ensuring detailed, accurate and timely records
  • Complete timely and quality repairs resulting in customer satisfaction
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe work environment
  • Adhere to company safety policies and procedures including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Active 310J or 310T Certification
  • Valid provincial driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience
  • Ability to work in all weather extremes
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Technically savvy to be able to use a handheld/tablet to create electronic work orders
